RIVERDALE, N.Y. — Fresh off a historic season of improvement, Manhattan men's basketball head coach John Gallagher keeps building his roster for next season. On Wednesday, Gallagher is proud to announce the addition of 6-6 Forward Anthony Isaac to the program.

Isaac joins Manhattan from Blinn College in Texas where he averaged 14.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and three assists over the past two seasons. He was selected to the Region XIV First Team both seasons.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Isaac finished his sophomore campaign averaging 11.4 caroms-per-game which ranked him second nationally in the JUCO ranks. He scored an efficient 14.6 points-per-game on an impressive 49 percent-shooting from the field. Averaging a double-double this past season, Isaac recorded 16 points-rebounds double-doubles in 31 contests and performed the feat in eight of his last 10 games.

Isaac goes down as the most successful rebounder in Blinn history, setting the single season record of 352 as well as the all-time mark of 610.

"Anthony's toughness and ability to rebound brings something that we need to win big MAAC games," said Gallagher. "His knack for finishing around the rim and his physicality will help us in more ways than one. We are happy to welcome Anthony to the Jasper family."

Isaac played high school basketball at Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn before taking his talents to Texas to play for head coach Scott Schumacher. Teaming with former Jasper Masiah Gilyard, Blinn went 23-8 and 14-5 in Region XIV play in 2023-24.

Isaac is the second newest Jasper to join the 2025 recruiting class, alongside Erik Oliver-Bush.
