Manhattan (1-2) hits the road for the first time this year when it makes the short trek to Hartford (0-2) on Tuesday, February 28 at 3:00 pm.

BREAK OUT THE MAP
Manhattan's five road matches will take them to five different states as the Jaspers will travel to Hartford (CT), Delaware (DE), Detroit Mercy (MI), Siena (NY) and Monmouth (NJ).

LAST TIME OUT
Manhattan dropped an 18-8 decision to Robert Morris despite a pair of goals from sophomore Parker Giarratana and freshman Reid Martin.

BRESSINGHAM MAKES AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT
Junior Joseph Bressingham has won 34-of-60 face-offs this year while adding two goals and 20 ground balls. Thanks to his efforts, the Jaspers lead the MAAC in face-off percentage (.624).

THE JASPER NEWCOMERS ...
Have combined for 20 of Manhattan's 32 goals and 12 of its 17 assists this year.

LAST YEAR VS. HARTFORD
The Hawks defeated the Jaspers by a 16-4 count despite two goals from senior Matt Garvey and Giarratana.

SERIES HISTORY
Manhattan be looking to snap a three-game losing streak to Hartford, last winning by a 14-7 count on March 5, 2005 … The Hawks lead the all-time series by a 4-1 count.

AHH THE GOOD OLD DAYS …
Head Coach Drew Kelleher went 4-0 against Hartford as a student-athlete at Vermont from 2006-2009.

A YEAR AGO …
The Hawks went 11-7 en route to winning the America East Championship before falling to Quinnipiac in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

PELLETIER NAMED MAAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman Trevor Pelletier
 earned his MAAC Rookie of the Week honors after scoring four goals with two assists over his first two collegiate matches. The Miami native opened his career with a goal and an assist against Bryant before scoring three goals with an assist in Manhattan's thrilling 14-13 triple-overtime win against Wagner.

RING THE BELL
Senior Connor Flannery was among a group of people invited to help ring the opening bell for the Nasdaq Stock Exchange as part of the One Love Foundation. The One Love Foundation was celebrating reaching over 100,000 people with their Escalation Workshop -- a training program that details warning signs of relationship abuse and how to handle them. 2002 MAAC CHAMPIONS TO BE RECOGNIZED
The 2002 Men's Lacrosse Team, which won the lone MAAC Championship in program history, will be recognized at halftime of the Jaspers' game against Quinnipiac on Saturday, April 1 at 7:00 pm. For the complete article click HERE.

IN 2002 …
Manhattan rolled to a perfect 7-0 league record before besting Saint Joseph's in the first round of the MAAC Tournament and Mount St. Mary's in the Championship before dropping a hard-fought contest to Georgetown in the NCAA Tournament.

GIARRATANA TABBED PRESEASON ALL-MAAC
Giarratana, last year's MAAC Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-MAAC selection, was tabbed Preseason All-MAAC while Manhattan was selected to finish seventh.

TANNER INDUCTED TO HALL OF FAME
Eugene Tanner, '05 was inducted into the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame this past winter. Tanner is the Jaspers' all-time leader in assists (89) and points (186), while his 98 career goals are second-most all-time. Tanner also was selected to the MAAC'S 35th Anniversary Second Team this past summer.
