TUXEDO PARK, N.Y. - The Manhattan golf team concluded the final 18 holes of the Tuxedo Autumn Invitational with a score of 325 (+41), its highest total of the tournament. As a team, the Jaspers finished in 8th place, combining for a 956 (+104).
Freshman Ryan Lynch carded the low team score on Day 2 with a 79 (+8). Lynch also posted the low score in Round 2 on Day 1, with a 76 (+5).
Fellow freshman Johnny Schob turned in the overall individual low score for Manhattan after achieving an impressive 73 (+2) in Round 1. He posted scores of 79 (+8) and 80 (+9) to finish at 232 (+19).
Freshmen Charles Seward and Jonny Slater finished with scores of 246 (+33) and 250 (+37), respectively.
Columbia earned first place in the tournament, shooting a 905 (+53). Hofstra 913 (+61) finished second. Lehigh 924 (+72) rounded out the top 3 in the invitational.
The Jaspers will next compete on Monday, Oct. 13, when they host the single round Jasper Shootout at the Huntington Country Club on Long Island.
